4 Things Never To Forget As a Christian
1) Strife
Strife is division, and it will only add to your challenges. Guard against strife.
James 3:16 - For wherever there is jealousy, envy, contention, rivalry, and selfish ambition, there will also be confusion, unrest, disharmony, rebellion and all sorts of evil and vile practices.
It usually doubles our troubles. So, keep a united front.
2) By Default we all have one enemy; Satan.
He can't be wrestled successfully if we are wrestling with ourselves. In fact he is winning if we are!
Matthew 12:25 And knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Any kingdom that is divided against itself is being brought to desolation and laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will last or continue to stand.
Your home, ministry is a house; a kingdom. Stay united!
3) At no point should we stop praying for one another
Prayer is a constant not a variable. No amount of life's pressures should neutralize our prayer lives. Our spouses, children, friends, and church members need it (them)
Romans 12:12 KJV - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
1st Thessalonians 5:17 KJV - Pray without ceasing.
4) Life's challenges come to ALL of us.
None is immune from them. Learn to stay positive in a negative world. Learn to rejoice in expectation; rejoice in Christ. Your joy mustn't be circumstantial. Rejoice over your home, ministries and relationships.
John 16:33 KJV - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1st Thessalonians 5:16 KJV - Rejoice evermore.
Philippians 4:4 KJV - Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
It's no suggestion or advice. It's an instruction! Blessings! We win!
