Section 5
Prayer Requests & Counseling — Special Confidentiality
We take the confidentiality of prayer requests and counseling submissions especially seriously.
- Prayer requests submitted through the Prayer Portal are routed only to the RCF Prayer Watchmen team. They are never shared publicly without your explicit consent.
- If you choose to share your request anonymously to the Prayer Wall, only an anonymized version will be displayed — your name and contact details will never appear publicly.
- Counseling and mentorship conversations are handled in confidence between you and your assigned counselor. Session notes, if any, are stored internally and are not shared outside the counseling team.
- Urgent prayer requests may result in a brief contact from an on-call intercessor — this is always done with pastoral care and discretion.
These confidentiality commitments are not merely policy — they reflect our spiritual and ethical responsibility to the students and young adults who trust us.
Section 6
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as it is needed to serve the ministry purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Specifically:
- Student and leader records in Karpos are retained for the duration of active engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for alumni follow-up
- Donation records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years in compliance with IRS nonprofit record-keeping requirements
- Prayer requests and counseling records are retained for a limited period determined by the department lead, and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed
- Newsletter and email list data is retained until you unsubscribe or request removal
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting rcfcampus@gmail.com. We will honor deletion requests promptly, subject to any legal or ministry obligations that require retention.
